If you think Tumblr individually reviews and approves every ad that appears on their site, you are mistaken. The internet has not worked like that since like, 1999. Ads are given space to appear, and ad providers bid to fill it with their ad supply. It’s all third party.

this is not the responsibility of palestinians and the palestinian cause. this does not and cannot affect the basic reality of settler colonialism and should be held very, very suspect if it is used to distract, downplay and excuse palestinian suffering and the ongoing genocide in gaza. i also do not entertain the notion that arabs, muslims or pro-palestinian activists are inherently more anti-semitic than any other demographic because this is also an explicitly political claim. but that is all one thing and inter-personal communication is another. there are many many jewish ppl marching in pro-palestine rallies worldwide and it is just basic courtesy to make sure they do not feel alienated by you, personally.

i think ive been very unclear. i absolutely do not think posting about palestine is in the abstract is virtue signalling. im just annoyed at that one asker who clearly has a previously established dislike for me coming to my inactive blog and telling me off for not posting about palestine, when (not including these few asks) ive not even posted 10 times this month. i do share information on the website i actively use, but im hardly ever on tumblr and to be frank i dont ever look at my dashboard when i am, mostly just my inbox. i am sharing stuff elsewhere.
